RED HEART® Light & Lofty®: 5 skeins 9317 Salt and Pepper A, 3 skeins 9316 Puff B, and 2 skeins 9312 Onyx C.

Susan Bates® Crochet Hook: 11.5mm [US P-16].
Throw measures 46” (117 cm) x 64” (163 cm).
GAUGE: 5 sts = 3” (8 cm); 6 rows = 3” (8 cm) in sc. CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size hook to obtain the gauge.
NOTES
To Change Color in Sc: Draw up a loop in last st with color in use; drop this color; yarn over and draw through 2 loops on hook with next color to be used and continue with this color.
To Change Color in Dc: Yarn over and draw up a loop in last st with color in use, yarn over and draw through 2 loops; drop this color; yarn over and draw through 2 loops on hook with next color to be used and continue with this color.
THROW
With A, ch 101.
Row 1 (Wrong Side): Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across; turn – 100 sc.
Rows 2-5: Ch 1, sc in each sc across; turn.
Row 6: Ch 1, sc in each sc across changing to B in last sc; turn.
Row 7: With B, repeat Row 6 changing to C in last sc; turn.
Row 8: With C, ch 3, skip first sc, dc in each sc across changing to B in last dc; turn.
Row 9: With B, sc in each dc across, sc in top of ch-3 changing to A; turn.
Row 10: With A, ch 1, sc in each sc across, turn.
Rows 11-73: Repeat Rows 2-10 seven more times.
Rows 74-78: Repeat Rows 2-6 once more. Fasten off.
Border
Round 1: With right side facing, joinB  in top right hand corner sc to work across long edge; ch 1, * 2 sc in first sc, [ch 1, skip next sc, sc in next 2 sc] 33 times, ch 1; turn to work across short edge; sc in first 3 row ends, [ch 1, skip next row end, sc in next 2 row ends] 25 times, ch 1 **; turn to work across next long edge; repeat from * to ** once more; join with a slip st in first sc – 120 ch-1 spaces.
Round 2: Slip st in next sc, (slip st, ch 3, dc, ch 2, 2 dc) all in first ch-1 space, sc in next ch-1 space, * (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) all in next ch-1 space, sc in next ch-1 space; repeat from * around; join with a slip st to top of ch-3. Fasten off. Weave in ends.
