Red Heart Soft Baby: 8 Ounces No. 7046 Bunny Print CA, 1/2 ounce No. 7011 White CB

Crochet Hooks: 3.75mm [US F-5] and 4mm [US G-6]

Yarn needle, Stuffing, Small amount brown pearl cotton or floss
Blanket measures approximately 22″ x 22″. Bear sits approximately 6″ high.
Blanket: 18 sts = 4″; 16 rows = 4″ in blanket pat with larger hook.

Teddy: 7 sts = 4″; 24 rnds = 4″ in sc in the round with smaller hook.

CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size hook to obtain the gauges.
BLANKET:
With larger hook and CA, ch 100.
Row 1 (Right Side): Sc in 3rd ch from hook, dc in next ch, * sc in next ch, dc in next ch; rep from * across; turn – 99 sts.
Rows 2-90: Ch 2 (counts as a dc), skip first dc, sc in next sc, * dc in next dc, sc in next sc; rep from * to last st; dc in top of ch-2; turn. At end of last row, do not fasten off but sc evenly around entire blanket, working 3 sc in each corner; join with a sl st to first sc of the round. Fasten off.
Border: With right side facing and larger hook, attach CB in any sc; ch 1, sc in same sc; * skip next sc, 4 dc in next sc, skip next sc, sc in next sc; rep from * around adjusting as necessary at corners and end of round; join to first sc. Fasten off.
BEAR: Bear is worked in rnds without joining. Place a marker between first and last st of rnd and move up each rnd.
Head: With smaller hook and CA, ch 2.
Rnd 1: 6 Sc in 2nd ch from hook.
Rnd 2: 2 Sc in each sc around – 12 sc.
Rnd 3: [Sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc] 6 times – 18 sc.
Rnd 4: [Sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc] 6 times – 24 sc.
Rnd 5: Sc in each sc around.
Rnd 6: [Sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc] 6 times – 30 sc.
Rnd 7: Sc in each sc around.
Rnd 8: [Sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc] 6 times – 36 sc.
Rnds 9-11: Sc in each sc around. Shape Muzzle-
Rnd 12: Sc in 15 sc, 3 sc in next sc, sc in last 20 sc – 38 sc.
Rnd 13: Sc in 15 sc, 2 sc in next sc, 3 sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc, sc in last 20 sc – 42 sc.
Rnd 14: Sc in each sc around.
Rnd 15: Sc in 15 sc; draw up a lp in each of next 2 sc, yo and draw through all 3 lps on hook – dec made; draw up lp in each of next 3 sc, yo and draw through all 4 lps on hook, dec over next 2 sc, sc in last 20 sc – 38 sc.
Rnd 16: Sc in 15 sc, draw up lp in next 3 sc, yo and draw through all 4 lps on hook, sc in last 20 sc –36 sc.
Rnd 17: Sc in each sc around.
Rnd 18: [Sc in 4 sc, dec] 6 times – 30 sc.
Rnd 19: Sc in each sc around.
Rnd 20: [Sc in 3 sc, dec] 6 times – 24 sc. Neck-
Rnd 21: [Dec] 12 times – 12 sc.
Rnd 22: Sc in each sc around. Shape Body
Rnd 23: 2 Sc in each sc around – 24 sc.
Rnd 24: [Sc in 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc] 6 times – 30 sc.
Rnd 25: [Sc in 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc] 6 times – 36 sc.
Rnds 26-31: Sc in each sc around.
Rnd 32: [Sc in 4 sc, dec] 6 times – 30 sc. Fasten off. Stuff Head and Body. Do not close bottom. Sew bottom edge firmly to center of blanket.
LEG (Make 4):
With smaller hook and CA, ch 2.
Rnd 1: 6 Sc in 2nd ch from hook.
Rnd 2: 2 Sc in each sc around – 12 sc.
Rnd 3: Sc in each sc around.
Rnd 4: [Sc in 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc] 3 times – 15 sc.
Rnds 5-12: Sc in each sc around. Fasten off. Stuff. Sew in place as pictured.
EAR (Make 2):
With F hook and Bunny Print ch 2. With smaller hook and CA, ch 2.
Rnd 1: 6 Sc in 2nd ch from hook.
Rnd 2: 2 Sc in each sc around – 12 sc.
Rnd 3: [Sc in 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc] 3 times – 15 sc.
Rnds 4 and 5: Sc in each sc around.
Rnd 6: [Dec] 7 times, sl st in last sc. Fasten off. Do not stuff. Flatten ear and sew to head. With brown pearl cotton or embroidery floss, embroider
nose and eyes with Satin stitch. Embroider mouth with Straight stitch.
