Size: About 10″ wide and 8½” long
Materials: Worsted Weight Cotton Yarn: Yellow – 2 oz, 100 yds (60 g, 92 m) White – 1 oz, 50 yds (30 g, 46 m)
Crochet Hook: Size I-9 (5.50 mm)
DISHCLOTH:
Rnd 1: (Right Side) With Yellow, ch 8; (2 dc, [ch 2, 3 dc] twice) in 4th ch from hook (skipped ch count as first dc), skip next ch, 3 dc in next ch, skip next ch, (3 dc, [ch 2, 3 dc] twice) in last ch; working in unused lps of starting ch on other side, skip next ch, 3 dc in next ch, skip next ch; join with sl st to first dc. (24 dc and 4 corner ch-2 sps)
Rnd 2: Sl st in next 2 dc, sl st in next ch-2 sp, ch 5 (counts as first dc and ch 2, now and throughout), 3 dc in same sp, (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in next corner ch-2 sp, [3 dc in sp between 3-dc groups] twice; [(3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in next corner ch-2 sp] twice, [3 dc in sp between dc-groups] twice, 2 dc in first corner ch-2 sp; join as before. (32 dc and 4 corner ch-2 sps)
Rnd 3: Sl st in ch-2 sp, ch 5, 3 dc in same sp, 3 dc in sp between next dc-groups, (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in next corner ch-2 sp, [3 dc in next sp between dc-groups] 3 times; [(3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in next corner ch-2 sp, 3 dc in next sp between dc-groups] twice, [3 dc in next sp between dc-groups] twice, 2 dc in first corner ch-2 sp; join as before. (48 dc and 4 corner ch-2 sps) Finish off and weave in ends.
Rnd 4: With right side facing, join White with sc to any corner ch-2 sp, ch 2, sc in same sp, * tr in next dc, [sc in next dc, tr in next dc] across to corner, (sc, ch 2, sc) in corner ch-2 sp; rep from * around, omitting last corner on final repeat; join with sl st to first sc. Finish off and weave in ends.
Rnd 5: With right side facing, join Yellow with sl st to any corner ch-2 sp, ch 5, 3 dc in same sp, dc in next tr, * [dc in next sc, dc in next tr] across to next corner, (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in next corner ch-2 sp; rep from * around, omitting last corner on final repeat, ending with 2 dc in first ch-2 corner; join with sl st to first dc. (72 dc)
Rnd 6: Sl st to any corner ch-2 sp, ch 5, 3 dc in same sp, * [dc in next dc] across to next corner, (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in next corner ch-2 sp; rep from * around, omitting last corner on final repeat, ending with 2 dc in first ch-2 corner; join with sl st to first dc. (96 dc) Finish off and weave in ends.
Rnd 7: With right side facing, join White with sl st to any corner ch-2 sp, ch 5, 3 dc in same sp, * [dc in next dc] across to next corner, (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in next corner ch-2 sp; rep from * around, omitting last corner on final repeat, ending with 2 dc in first ch-2 corner; join with sl st to first dc. (120 dc) Finish off and weave in ends.
