Skill: Easy
Size: About 8½” square.
Materials: Worsted Weight Cotton Yarn: Variegated – 1 oz, 50 yds (30 g, 46 m); Red – ½ oz, 25 yds (15 g, 23 m); Green – 1 oz, 50 yds (30 g, 46 m)(I Love This Cotton – Christmas Print, Red, Bright Green)
Crochet Hook: Size I-9 (5.50 mm)

Special Stitches:
Beginning Treble Cluster (beg tr-cl): * Yo twice, insert hook in next tr, yo, draw lp through, [yo, draw through 2 lps on hook] twice *; rep from * to * in next 4 tr, yo, draw through 6 lps on hook.
Treble Cluster (tr-cl): * Yo twice, insert hook in next tr, yo, draw lp through, [yo, draw through 2 lps on hook] twice *; rep from * to * in next 5 tr, yo, draw through 7 lps on hook.

DISHCLOTH:
Rnd 1: (Right Side) Starting at center, with Variegated, ch 8, sl st in first ch to form ring, ch 4 (counts as first tr now and throughout), 5 tr in ring, ch 3, [6 tr in ring, ch 3] 3 times; join with sl st to first tr. (24 tr and 4 ch-3 sps)
Rnd 2: Ch 4, beg tr-cl, ch 5, skip next ch, sl st in next ch, ch 5, skip next ch, [tr-cl, ch 5, skip next ch, sl st in next ch, ch 5] around; join with sl st to first cl. (4 clusters) Finish off and weave in ends.
Rnd 3: With right side facing, join Red with sl st to top of any cl, working over Rnd 2, (3 tr, ch 1, 3 tr, ch 2, 3 tr, ch 1, 3 tr) in next ch-3 sp on Rnd 1, [sl st in top of next cl (Rnd 2), working over Rnd 2, (3 tr, ch 1, 3 tr, ch 2, 3 tr, ch 1, 3 tr) in next ch-3 sp on Rnd 1] around; join with sl st to first sl st. Finish off and weave in ends.
Rnd 4: With right side facing, join Variegated with sl st to any corner ch-2 sp, ch 4 (5 tr, ch 2, 6 tr) in same sp, skip next 6 tr, 6 tr in next sl st, [skip next 6 tr, (6 tr, ch 2, 6 tr) in next ch-2 sp, skip next 6 tr, 6 tr in next sl st] around, ending with skip last 6 tr; join with sl st to first tr. Finish off and weave in ends.
Rnd 5: With right side facing, join Green with sc to same st as joining, sc in next 5 tr, * 3 sc in corner ch-2 sp, [sc in next 6 tr, working over Rnd 4, dc in ch-1 sp of tr-group on Rnd 3] twice, sc in next 6 tr; rep from * around, omitting last 6 sc on final repeat; join with sl st to back loop of first sc.
Rnd 6: Ch 3, working in back loops only, dc in each st around, working 3 dc in center sc of each corner 3-sc group; join with sl st to first dc.Finish off and weave in ends.
