Cluster Rows Dishcloth

Skill: Easy
Size: About 8½” wide and 10 ½” long
Materials: Worsted Weight Cotton: ?? – 2 oz, 100 yd (60 g, 92 m)(Sugar ‘n Cream Stripes)
Crochet Hook:
Size H-8 (5.00 mm)

JOINING WITH SC
When instructed to join with sc, begin with sl knot on hook, insert hook in st or sp indicated, yo and pull up a loop, yo and draw through both loops on hook.

Special Stitches
Cluster (cl):
Keeping last loop of each dc on hook, work 2 dc in st or sp indicated, yo and pull through 3 loops on hook.
3-dc Cluster (3-cl):
Keeping last loop of each dc on hook, dc in next 3 sts or sps indicated, yo and pull through 4 loops on hook.
Double Crochet Decrease (dc dec):
Keeping last loop of each st on hook, dc in next 2 sts, yo and pull through 3 loops on hook.

DISHCLOTH
Row 1:
(Right Side) Ch 27, dc in 4th ch from hook (skipped ch count as first dc), [dc in next ch] across. (25 dc)
Row 2:
Ch 2 (counts as first hdc now and throughout), turn, [hdc in next dc] across. (25 hdc)
Row 3:
Ch 3 (counts as first dc now and throughout), turn, dc in first hdc, ch 3, cl in top of dc just made, skip next hdc, [3-cl over next 3 hdc, ch 3, cl in top of 3-cl just made] across to last 2 hdc, dc dec.
Row 4:
Ch 3, turn, dc in first dc, [3 dc in next 3-cl] across to last dc, 2 dc in last dc. (25 dc)
Row 5:
Ch 3, turn, [dc in next dc] across. (25 dc)
Row 6:
Ch 2, turn, [hdc in next dc] across. (25 hdc)
Rows 7-18:
Rep Rows 3-6 three times.
At the end of Row 18, finish off and weave in ends.

    should there be more chain stitches to start as it looks like it gets wider then smaller on both ends. Do you think increases the chain would help?
