Strawberry Fields Dishcloth

Size: About 11” wide, 12” long.
Materials: Worsted Weight Cotton: Green- 2 oz, 95 yd (56.7 g, 86 m); Multicolor- 2 oz, 95 yd (56.7 g, 86 m) (Sugar ‘n Cream)
Crochet Hook: Size I-9 (5.50 mm)
JOINING WITH SC
When instructed to join with sc, begin with sl knot on hook, insert hook in st or sp indicated, yo and pull up a loop, yo and draw through both loops on hook.
Special Stitches
V-Stitch (v-st): (dc, ch 2, dc) in st or sp indicated.
DISHCLOTH
Row 1: (Right Side) With Multicolor, ch 30, sc in 2nd ch from hook, [skip next ch, 3 dc in next ch, skip next ch, sc in next ch] across. (8 sc, 7 dc-groups) Finish off and weave in ends.
Row 2: With right side facing, join Green with sl st to first sc, ch 4, skip next 3-dc group, [v-st in next sc, ch 1, skip next 3-dc group] across to last sc, dc in last sc. Finish off and weave in ends.
Row 3: With right side facing, join Multicolor with sc to 3rd ch of ch-4, sc in next ch, [3 dc in next v-st, sc in next ch-1 sp] across to last dc, sc in last dc. Finish off and weave in ends.
Row 4: With right side facing, join Green with sl st to first sc, ch 4, v-st in next sc, [ch 1, skip next 3-dc group, v-st in next sc] across to last sc, ch 1, dc in last sc.
Row 5: With right side facing, join Multicolor with sc to 3rd ch of ch-4, 3 dc in next v-st, [sc in next ch-1 sp, 3 dc in next v-st] across to last dc, sc in last dc.
Rows 6-21: Rep Rows 2-5 four times.
At the end of Row 21, DO NOT FINISH OFF.
Border
First Side
Row 1: With right side facing, working in ends of rows, ch 1, sc in each sc row and 3 dc in each dc row across to last row, (sc, ch 1, sl st) in last row. Finish off and weave in ends.
Other Side
Row 1: With right side facing, working in ends of rows, join Mulitcolor with sl st in end of first row, (ch 1, sc) in same row, 3 dc in each dc row and sc in each sc row across to last row, (sc, ch 1, sl st) in last row. Finish off and weave in ends.
