Crochet Hook: Size I-9 (5.50 mm)
TO CHANGE COLORS
Work last stitch before color change to last step, with new color yo and pull new color through remaining loops on hook. Drop unused color to wrong side. Do not work over unused color.

JOINING WITH SC
When instructed to join with sc, begin with sl knot on hook, insert hook in st or sp indicated, yo and pull up a loop, yo and draw through both loops on hook.

Rnd 2: With right side facing, join Light Rose with sl st between any 2 sc, ch 4, [sl st between next 2 sc, ch 4] around; join with sl st to first sl st. (6 ch-4 sps)
Rnd 3: Sl st in ch-4 sp, ch 1, (sc, hdc, 3 dc, hdc, sc) in same sp, [(sc, hdc, 3 dc, hdc, sc) in next ch-sp] around; join with sl st to first sc. (6 petals)
Rnd 4: Ch 1, sc between 2 sc, working behind petals, ch 4, [sc in sp between next 2 petals, ch 4] around; join with sl st to first sc. (6 ch-4 sps)
Rnd 5: Working in petals, [ch 3, sl st in next st] around; join. Finish off and weave in ends.

I tried several times to start this dishcloth but couldn’t get the required number of stitches in the chain 5 loop so I used a magic loop. It turned out really good. I made this dishcloth as a gift for a co-worker that was retiring. She love it.
