This is one of my favorite dishcloths! When I looked at the yarn I didn’t think it would look good but it does.
In the summer of 2010 three women from Victoria magazine came to our gallery and did a five hour photo shoot! It was so exciting! A few weeks ago we got to see the photo layout. When I opened it I was truely amazed. It was four pages full of the most beautiful photos of our pottery and of me….

Materials: Worsted Weight Cotton Yarn:
Multicolor – 2 oz, 95 yds (57 g, 86 m)
(Sugar ‘n Cream – Pretty Pastels)
Crochet Hook: Size H-8 (5.00 mm)
Dishcloth
Row 1: (Right Side) Ch 29, dc in 4th ch from hook, dc in next ch, (ch 3, skip next 3 ch, dc in next 3 ch) across. (15 dc, 4 ch-3 lps)
Row 2: Ch 1, sc in first dc, sc in next 2 dc, (ch 3, sc in next 3 dc) across.
Row 3: Ch 1, turn, sc in first sc, sc in next 2 sc, (ch 3, sc in next 3 sc) across.
Row 4: Ch 3, turn, dc in next 2 sc, (ch 3, dc in next 3 sc) across.
Rows 5-19: Rep Rows 2-4 five times.
At the end of Row 19, DO NOT FINISH OFF.
Edging
Rnd 1: With right side facing, ch 3, (dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in last dc worked; * working in sides of rows, evenly dc across *; working in unused lps of starting ch, (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in first ch, (dc in next ch) across to last ch, (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in last ch; rep from * to *; working in Row 15, (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in first dc, (dc in next dc) across; join with sl st to first dc.
Rnd 2: Sl st to ch-2 sp, ch 1, * (sc, ch 5, sc) in corner ch-2 sp, ch 5, skip next 2 dc, (sc in next dc, ch 5, skip next 2 dc) across to next corner; rep from * around; join with sl st to first sc.
Rnd 3: Ch 1, * sc in first corner sc, ch 6, sc in next corner sc, ch 5, (sc in next sc, ch 5) across to next corner; rep from * around; join. Finish off and weave in ends.

Definitely an attractive end-product though!
