Crochet Hook: 4mm [US G-6] and 4.5mm [US 7]

Your little princess will love having her friends over so she can serve them with her own crocheted party set. Pattern includes teacup, saucer, teapot and a plate for serving the chocolate chip and thumbprint cookies.
Gauge/Tension: GAUGE: Gauge is not critical for this project.
Saucer measures 4” diameter; Cup measures 2” diameter x 2” tall; Teapot measures 4” tall without lid.
NOTE:
Pieces are worked in continuous rounds. Place marker for beginning of round. When changing colors, work last step of last st of previous color with new color. Carry colors not in use loosely along wrong side of work.
Special Abbreviations:
sc2tog = [draw up a loop in next st] twice, yarn over and draw through all 3 loops on hook.
TEA CUP
Round 1: With smaller hook and A, ch 2, work 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook, place marker for beginning of round – 6 sc.
Round 2: Work 2 sc in each st around – 12 sc.
Round 3: Working in back loops only, sc in each st around.
Round 4: Working in both loops,sc in next st, 2 sc in next st] around – 18 sc.
Round 5: Sc in each st around, change to B in last st.
Round 6: *(Hdc, ch 1, hdc) in next st, skip next st; repeat from * around, change to C in last hdc – 18 hdc.
Round 7: [3 hdc in next ch-1 space] around, change to A in last st – 27 hdc.
Round 8: Working in back loops only, sc in each st around.
Round 9: Working in both loops, sc in each st around, slip st in first st.
Fasten off.
CUP HANDLE
With smaller hook and A, ch 13.
Working in back loops only, sc in 2nd ch from hook and each ch across.
Fasten off.
Folding ends over to wrong side, sew one end of Handle near Rounds 8-9 and opposite end near Rounds 4-5.
SAUCER
Round 1: With smaller hook and A, ch 2, work 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook, place marker for beginning of round – 6 sc.
Round 2: Work 2 sc in each st around – 12 sc.

TEAPOT SPOUT
With smaller hook and A, ch 9, sc in first ch to form ring.
Round 1: Sc in each ch around – 9 sc.
Round 2: [Sc in next st, sc2tog] around – 6 sc.
Round 3: Sc in each st around.
Round 4: [Sc in next st, 2 sc in next st] around – 9 sc.
Rounds 5-7: Hdc in next 6 sts, slip st in last 3 sts.
Round 8: [Sc in next 2 sts, 2 sc in next st] around – 12 sc.
Round 9: [Sc in next 3 sts, 2 sc in next st] around – 15 sc.
Fasten off.
Sew last round of Spout to opposite side of Teapot from handle between Rounds 12-16.
