Skill: Easy

Size: About 8” square

Materials: Worsted Weight Cotton: Blue – ½ oz, 25 yd (15 g, 23 m); Light Pink – ½ oz, 25 yd (15 g, 23 m); Dark Pink – ½ oz, 25 yd (15 g, 23 m); Yellow – ½ oz, 25 yd (15 g, 23 m) (Bernat Cottontots)

Crochet Hook: Size H-8 (5.00 mm)

JOINING WITH SC

When instructed to join with sc, begin with sl knot on hook, insert hook in st or sp indicated, yo and pull up a loop, yo and draw through both loops on hook.

DISHCLOTH

Row 1:
(Wrong Side) With Blue, ch 28, sc in 2nd ch from hook, [ch 1, skip next ch, sc in next ch] across. (14 sc and 13 ch-1 sps)

Row 2:
(Right Side) Ch 1, turn, sc in first sc, [sc in next ch-1 sp, sc in next sc] across. (27 sc)

Row 3:
Ch 1, turn, sc in first sc, [ch 1, skip next sc, sc in next sc] across. (14 sc and 13 ch-1 sps) Finish off Blue and weave in ends.

Row 4:
With right side facing, join Light Pink with sc in first sc, working in front of next ch, dc in sc one row below, sc in next sc (on current row), [working behind next ch, dc in sc one row below, sc in next sc, working in front of next ch, dc in sc one row below, sc in next sc] across. (14 sc and 13 dc)

Row 5:
Ch 1, turn, sc in first sc, [ch 1, skip next dc, sc in next sc] across. (14 sc and 13 ch-1 sps) Finish off Light Pink and weave in ends.

Row 6:
With right side facing, join Dark Pink with sc in first sc, working in front of next ch, dc in dc one row below, sc in next sc (on current row), [working behind next ch, dc in dc one row below, sc in next sc, working in front of next ch, dc in dc one row below, sc in next sc] across. (14 sc and 13 dc)

Row 7:
Ch 1, turn, sc in first sc, [ch 1, skip next dc, sc in next sc] across. (14 sc and 13 ch-1 sps) Finish off Dark Pink and weave in ends.

Row 8:
With right side facing, join Yellow with sc in first sc, working in front of next ch, dc in dc one row below, sc in next sc (on current row), [working behind next ch, dc in dc one row below, sc in next sc, working in front of next ch, dc in dc one row below, sc in next sc] across. (14 sc and 13 dc)

Row 9:
Ch 1, turn, sc in first sc, [ch 1, skip next dc, sc in next sc] across. (14 sc and 13 ch-1 sps) Finish off Yellow and weave in ends.

Row 10:
With right side facing, join Blue with sc in first sc, working in front of next ch, dc in dc one row below, sc in next sc (on current row), [working behind next ch, dc in dc one row below, sc in next sc, working in front of next ch, dc in dc one row below, sc in next sc] across. (14 sc and 13 dc)

Rows 11-25:
Rep Rows 3-10 and Rows 3-9.

At the end of Row 25, finish off and weave in ends.

    It’s nice to see a wonderful pattern and not have to pay for it, thank you. I realize some people have to charge for their crafts to make a living but it’s nice in this time of hardship to find people who will share also.
