one shell is 3 dc, ch2, 3 dc. you work it into the ch2 space. Hope this helps. It comes out really pretty when you finish row 5. Here is mine: http://instagr.am/p/HiPsW/

Hi, was wondering how many balls of cotton thread this would take?? I didn’t see any yardage or skein/ball requirements in the pattern? I grabbed three dmc crochet traditions in sky blue. Thanks!

Hi, My name is Sabrina, and I’m planning to start an Etsy shop soon to sell some crocheted items. I was wondering if it would be alright with you if I used this pattern to make some things to sell. Specifically, I’d like to just join a row of them (maybe 4 or 5) to make bookmarks out of them. I would give you full credit for the pattern of course and also include a link to the pattern in the listing, or whatever you prefer. Please let me know by replying to this message if that would be ok with you! If it is, I will send you a quick message when I list so that you can look at the listing and make sure everything is to your liking. 🙂
