Christmas Candy Cane Bib

Over the years I have designed hundreds of crochet patterns including afghans, doilies, apparel, and more.  I have enjoyed designing for the holidays the most, with my favorites holidays being Christmas and Halloween.

This Candy Cane Bib is easy to create even for a beginner.  The crochet pattern is worked in worsted weight yarn and a medium size crochet hook.  Make one or several as special gifts for holiday giving.

Oh, thank you! I have a baby shower coming up, and this will be a fun gift.

This would be beautiful made in cotton yarn. The same yarn used for dishcloths. Our model is at least 25 years old. I know all of your’s will look better.
    Have fun at your shower.

    Dear Maggie,

So darlin, Thank you. Question – to make it Adult Size for Seniors, would I use a bigger crochet hook?
I hope that this question is appropriate. I know they would love it.

    God Bless

    Brenda,
You could try it with a bulky weight yarn and larger hook. Maybe that would be big enough for a senior. You question is fine. I used to work in nursing homes. I know what you mean – they would love it.
    God Bless You,
    Maggie

This pattern is so cute, my grandson and his wife are expecting my great grand son in early Dec. I want to crochet this for him. It has been years since I croched but I am going to attempt this, wish me luck. Thanks for a cute pattern.

This looks like it could be dressed up and taken out for dinner by anyone who is savvy enough to wear it to enhance their outfit!

I’m thinking about this for gifts, as well as for charities.

Thank you! HEALTHY and Happy Chanukah, Merry Christmas, and Blessed Kwanzaa.
