Rescued Trivet

I love to visit resale shops and antique stores.  This morning I stopped at our local Goodwill Store which is conveniently located on my way to the office.  Just before I arrived they had put out a crocheted bottle cap trivet.  Amy who works there knows I do crochet and pottery so she pointed it out to me.

Amy, said it was sitting on top of a garbage heap, ready to be thrown out!  Imagine that.  Luckily she rescued it.  As you can see it is a treasure, especially for two dollars!

Wendi, our pattern editor has written the pattern so that you can enjoy making the “Rescued Trivet”.

    Hi Judy,
I can’t wait to see what I find next week at the Mt. Dora Antique Show. There will be over 1,000 vendors! I will be sharing much of it on this site.
