Special Technique
join with sc = Place a slip knot on hook, insert hook in indicated stitch, yarn over and pull up loop, yarn over and draw through both loops on hook.
Notes
1. Cuff is crocheted back and forth in rows. The short ends are joined together with a row of slip stitches, forming a ring.
2. Hand, Finger Cover, and Thumb are worked in joined rounds. Palm side of Hand has a buttoned opening.
3. When instructed to work around a stitch “2 rows below”, work in the indicated stitch in the row numbered 2 less than the row being worked. For example, if you are working Row 5, a stitch “2 rows below” would be in (5 – 2) = Row 3. Skip the corresponding stitch in the row into which you would usually work.
4. When working over Fpdtr just made, insert hook around only the indicated stitch and under the stitch previously made; do not catch the previously made Fpdtr in the new stitch.
