RED HEART® Soft®: 1 ball each 4601 Off White A, 4608 Wine B, 9543 Embers Print C, 1882 Toast D and 9344 Chocolate E.

Crochet Hook: 5.5mm (US I-9)

Stitch markers, yarn needle
  Throw measures 50” x 60” (127 x 152 cm).
GAUGE: 3 Shell/sc repeat = 5”; 8 rows = 4”. CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size hook to obtain the gauge.

NOTE

Throw is worked from side to side.

SPECIAL ABBREVIATIONS

Shell: 5 dc in specified st.

PATTERN STITCHES

Stripe Pattern

Keeping in pattern, work 2 rows with A, 2 rows with B, 2 rows with C, 2 rows with D, 2 rows with E.

Repeat last 10 rows for Stripe pattern.

THROW

With A, ch 206.

Row 1 (RS): Sc in second ch from hook, *skip next 2 ch, Shell in next ch, skip next 2 ch, sc in next ch; repeat from * across – 34 Shells.

Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as dc here and throughout), turn, 2 dc in first sc, *sc in third dc of next Shell, Shell in next sc; repeat from * across to last Shell, sc in in third dc in last Shell, 3 dc in last sc.

Row 3: Keeping in Stripe Pattern, ch 1, turn, sc in first dc, *Shell in next sc, sc in third dc of next Shell; repeat from * across, sc in last dc.

Keeping in Stripe pattern, repeat Rows 2 and 3 until piece measures 50” (127 cm) from beginning, end with 2 rows with A.

Fasten off.
