RED HEART® “Baby Clouds™”: 3 Skeins No. 9311 Cloud MC, 2 skeins No. 9010 Pastel Multi CC [available in solid colors – 6 oz (170 g), 140 yd (128 m); multi colors – 4.5 oz (127 g), 105 yd (96 m)].Crochet Hook: 10mm [US N-15].

Yarn needle.

BLANKET:

With MC, ch 62.

Row 1 (Right Side): Hdc in 3rd ch from hook, [skip next ch, 2 hdc in next ch] 28 times, skip next ch, hdc in last 2 ch; turn – 60 sts and 28 groups.

Row 2: Ch 2, skip first hdc, hdc in next hdc, * group over group; rep from * to last 3 sts; skip hdc of last group in the row below, hdc in next hdc, hdc in top of beg ch changing to CC; turn.

Row 3: With CC, ch 2, skip first 2 hdc, group between first 2 hdc and first group of the row below, * group between groups; rep from * to last 2 sts; skip next hdc, hdc in top of ch-2 changing to MC– 29 groups.

Row 4: With MC, ch 2, * group over group; rep from * to last 2 sts; skip hdc of last group in the row below, hdc in top of ch-2; turn.

Row 5: Rep Row 4 changing to CC in last st.

Row 6: With CC, ch 2, hdc in the space between the first hdc and the first group of the row below, * group between groups; rep from * to last 3 sts; skip last group, hdc between last group and last st, hdc in top of ch-2 changing to MC; turn – 28 groups.

Row 7: With MC, ch 2, skip first hdc, hdc in next hdc, * group over group; rep from * to last 3 sts; skip hdc of last group, hdc in next hdc, hdc in top of ch-2; turn.

Rep Rows 2-7 for pattern until approximately 36” from beg,

end by working 2 rows with MC. Fasten off CC.

Rnd 1: With right side facing, join MC in any st; ch 1, work sc evenly around all 4 sides, working 3 sc in each corner; join with a sl st in first sc; turn.

Rnd 2: Ch 1, sc in each sc around and 3 sc in corner sc; join; turn.

Rnd 3: Ch 1, * sc in sc, (ch 1, hdc, ch 1, sl st) all in next sc; rep from * around adjusting as necessary around corners and at end of rnd; join. Fasten off. Weave in ends.
