RED HEART® “Soft Yarn”: 1 ball each 9518 Teal A, 3729 Grape B, and 9779 Berry C.
Crochet Hook: 5mm [US H-8].
Split-lock stitch marker; yarn needle.
Scarf measures 6” wide x 96” long.
GAUGE: Strips measure 2” wide before joining. CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size hook to obtain the gauge.
Special Abbreviations

P3 (picot 3) = ch 3, slip st in 3rd ch from hook.

P5 (picot 5) = ch 5, slip st in 5th ch from hook.
Scarf

First Strip

Adjust loom for 2” strips. With A, following instructions that accompany the loom, make 1 strip of hairpin lace with 200 loops on each side of loom. Do not fasten off or remove loops from loom.
Note: Work into 2 loops at a time or 3 loops at a time as
directed, maintaining the natural twist of the loops.
First Strip Edging Round (Right Side): Before removing loops from loom, ch 1, sc in center st, ch 5, remove all loops from loom, 2 sc in first 3 loops, * ch 3, 2 sc in next 2 loops **, ch 3, 2 sc in next 3 loops; repeat from * across, end at **; ch 5 (mark this ch-5 loop), sc in center st of strip, ch 5, 2 sc in first 3 loops; repeat from * across opposite side of strip, end at **; ch 5; join with a slip st in first sc. Fasten off.
Second Strip

With A, make 1 strip of hairpin lace with 200 loops on each side of loom. Do not fasten off or remove loops from loom.
Second Strip Edging and Joining Round: Before removing loops from loom, ch 1, sc in center st, ch 3, remove all loops from loom, with right side facing sc in the marked ch-5 loop of First Strip, ch 2, 2 sc in first 3 loops of 2nd Strip, ch 1, sc in next ch-3 space of First Strip, * ch 1, 2 sc in next 2 loops of 2nd Strip **, ch 1, sc in next ch-3 space of First Strip, ch 1, 2 sc in next 3 loops of 2nd Strip; repeat from * across, end at **; ch 2, sc in ch-5 loop of First Strip – strips joined, ch 3, sc in center st of 2nd Strip, ch 5, 2 sc in first 3 loops, † ch 3, 2 sc in next 2 loops ††, ch 3, 2 sc in next 3 loops; repeat from † across, end at ††; ch 5; join with a slip st in first sc. Fasten off.
Border

With right side facing, join A in any corner ch-5 space; (ch 3, 4 dc, P5, 5 dc, P5) all in same space, * 3 dc in next ch-3 space, P3; repeat from * to next corner **; (5 dc, P5, 5 dc, P3) all in corner ch-5 space; repeat from * around, end at **; join with a slip st in top of ch-3. Fasten off. Weave in ends.
Small Flower (Make 2 each with B and C)

Ch 18, 2 dc in 3rd ch from hook, * 3 dc in next ch; repeat from * across. Fasten off leaving an 8” end. Weave yarn end through the foundation chain, coil and gather the sts to form flower; fasten securely.
Medium Flower (Make 2 with B)

Ch 5; join with a slip st to form a ring.

Round 1: Ch 1, 12 sc in ring; join with a slip st in first sc.

Round 2: Ch 1, sc in same st as joining, ch 3, skip next sc, [sc in next sc, ch 3, skip next sc] 5 times; join in first sc.

Round 3: * (Sc, hdc, dc, 3 tr, dc, hdc, sc) all in next ch-3 space; repeat from * around; join in first sc – 6 petals.

Round 4: Working behind the petals, ch 1, [sc in next free sc of Round 1, ch 4] 6 times; join.

Round 5: * (Sc, hdc, dc, 5 tr, dc, hdc, sc) all in next ch-4 space; join. Fasten off.
Make 2 more Medium Flowers, working Round 1 with B and Rounds 2-5 with C.

Make 2 more Medium Flowers, working Rounds 1-3 with C and Rounds 4 and 5 with B.
Finishing

Place one of each style of flower randomly at each end of the scarf; sew in place with A.ABBREVIATIONS: A, B, C = color A, B, C; ch = chain;
