RED HEART® Super Saver®: 1 skein each 706 Perfect Pink A, 373 Petal Pink B, 324 Bright Yellow C, and 406 Medium Thyme DSusan Bates® Crochet Hook: 5m [US H-8]Yarn needle, purchased 12” (30.4 cm) pillow form 

Pillow measures 12” x 12” (30.4 X 30.4 cm)
Gauge: 14 sts = 4”(10 cm); 8 rows = 3” (7.6 cm) in dc.CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size hook to obtain the gauge.Note
Leave long end of yarn at end of each piece to sew in place on pillow.Special Abbreviation
hdc dec = [yarn over and draw up a loop in next st] twice, yarn over and draw through all 5 loops on hook.
sc dec = [draw up a loop in next st] twice, yarn over and draw through all 3 loops on hook.
PILLOW
Cover (Make 2)
With D, ch 40.
Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and each ch across; turn – 39 sc.
Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as dc), skip first st, dc in each st across; turn.
Row 3: Ch 1, skip first dc (counts as first slip st), * dc in next dc, slip st in next dc; repeat from * across working last slip st in top of ch- 3; turn.
Rows 4-25: Repeat Rows 2 and 3.
Row 26: Repeat Row 2.
Row 27: Ch 1, sc in each st across. Fasten off.

FLOWER
Center
With C, ch 4.
Round 1: 11 Dc in 4th ch from hook; join with a slip st in top of ch-4.
Round 2: Ch 1, 2 sc in same st as joining and in each st around; join with a slip st in back loop of first sc – 24 sc.
Rounds 3-5: Ch 1, working in back loops only sc in each sc around; join in back loop of first sc.
Round 6: Ch 1, working in back loops only [sc dec] 12 times – 12 sc. Fasten off.

Round 7: Join D with sc in any front loop of Round 5, sc in next 4 front loops, 2 sc in next front loop, [sc in next 5 front loops, 2 sc in next front loop] 3 times; join – 28 sc. Fasten off.
Round 8: Join B with sc in a back loop of Round 7, sc in each back loop around; join in first sc.
Round 9: Ch 1, sc in first 2 sc, * [2 dc in next sc] twice **, sc in next 2 sc; repeat from * to around, end at **; join. Fasten off.

First (Outside) Petal Layer
Row 1: With A, ch 7; sc in 2nd ch from hook and each ch across; turn – 6 sc.
Row 2: Ch 1, sc in first 5 sc, 2 sc in last sc; turn – 7 sc.
Row 3: Ch 2 (does NOT count as hdc), 2 hdc in first sc, hdc in next 2 sc, sc in last 4 sc; turn – 8 hdc.
Row 4: Ch 1, sc in first 4 sc, hdc in last 4 hdc; turn.
Row 5: Ch 2, hdc dec, hdc in next 2 hdc, sc in last 4 sc; turn – 7 sts.
Row 6: Ch 1, sc in first 5 sts, sc dec; turn – 6 sc.
Row 7: Ch 1, sc in 6 sc **, ch 7; turn; sc in 2nd ch from hook and each ch across; turn.

Now work Rows 2-6 across the 6 new sts to form next petal and then repeat Row 7 to begin the next petal until 7 petals in all have been formed, end at ** on Row 7.
Next Row: Ch 1, work 7 sc across base of each petal; turn – 49 sc.
Next row: Ch 1, [sc in next 5 sc, sc dec] 7 times; join with a slip st in first sc – 42 sc. Fasten off.

Outside edge of petals: Rejoin yarn with sc  in any outside edge st. Sc evenly around all  petals. Fasten off.

2nd Petal Layer
Row 1: With B, ch 5; sc in 2nd ch from hook and each ch across; turn – 4 sc.
Row 2: Ch 1, sc in first 3 sc, 2 sc in last sc; turn – 5 sc.

Row 3: Ch 2, 2 hdc in first sc, hdc in next sc, sc in last 3 sc; turn – 6 sts.
Row 4: Ch 1, sc in first 3 sc, hdc in next 3 hdc; turn.
Row 5: Ch 2, hdc dec, hdc in next hdc, sc in last 3 sc; turn – 5 sts.
Row 6: Ch 1, sc in first 3 sc, sc dec; turn – 4 sc.
Row 7: Ch 1, sc in 4 sc **, ch 5; sc in 2nd ch from hook and each ch across; turn.

Sew layers in place on pillow front beginning with First (Outside) Petals and pinning in place before attaching. Repeat with other layers, having center of petals come between petals of previous rows. Sew center in place. Sew 3 sides of pillow cover and insert pillow form before sewing 4th side.
