Throw measures 45” wide and 62” long, not including border.
GAUGE: 1 square measures about 5½ x 5½”. CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size hook to obtain the gauge.
Special Stitch

THROW
Square (Make 88)
With A, ch 4; join with slip st in first ch to form a ring (center ring made).
Round 1 (Right Side): Ch 3 (counts as dc here and throughout), (dc, ch 1, 2 dc) in ring, ch 3, [(2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc) in ring, ch 3] 3 times; join with slip st in top of beginning ch—16 dc, 4 ch-1 spaces, and 4 ch-3 spaces. Fasten off A.
Round 2: With Right Side facing, join B in any ch-3 space, ch 3, (2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in same ch-3 space (first corner made), ch 3, Lsc in center ring, [ch 3, (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in next ch-3 space (corner made), ch 3, Lsc in center ring] 3 times, ch 3; join with slip st in top of beginning ch—24 dc, 8 ch-3 spaces, and 4 corner ch-2 spaces.
