TUESDAY DECEMBER 27, 2011

Designer Maggie Weldon wrote: ” This dishcloth is an adaptation of a design which appeared in South African magazine (Sarie) in June 2009 written by Lounette Fourie and Anita Roussouw. In the magazine it is called “Gehekelde blommetjie met 6 kante” (Crocheted Flower with 6 Sides) but has become commonly known as “African Flower”.

The first 4 rows of this beautiful pattern make great little flower-shaped scrubbers. A great way to use up scraps.
