Size: About 8½” square
Materials: Worsted Weight Cotton Yarn: White – 2 oz, 100 yds (60 g, 92 m) Variegated Pinks – 1 oz, 50 yds (30 g, 46 m) (Sugar ‘n Cream)
Crochet Hook:
Size I-9 (5.50 mm)

DISHCLOTH:
Row 1:
(Right Side) With White, ch 27, dc in 4th ch from hook, [dc in next ch] across. (25 dc)
Rows 2-12:
Ch 3 (counts as first dc now and throughout), turn, [dc in next dc] across. (25 dc)
At the end of Row 12, finish off and weave in ends.

Edging
With right side facing, working in unused lps of starting ch, join Pinks with sl st to first ch, ch 3, 4 dc in same ch, skip next 2 ch, sc in next ch, skip next 2 ch, [5 dc in next ch, skip next 2 ch, sc in next ch, skip next 2 ch] across, ending with 5 dc in last ch; * working in side of rows, sc in first row, [5 dc in next row, sc in next row] 5 times *; working in Row 12, 5 dc in first dc, [skip next 2 dc, sc in next dc, skip next 2 dc, 5 dc in next dc] across; rep from * to * once; ch 10, sl st in last sc worked; join with sl st to first dc.

PANSY
Rnd 1:
(Right Side) Starting at center, with Pinks, ch 7; join with sl st to first ch to form ring; ch 3 (counts as first dc now and throughout), 2 dc in ring, ch 6, [3 dc in ring, ch 6] 4 times. (15 dc and 5 ch-6 lps)
Rnd 2:
Sl st in next (center) dc, ch 1, sc in same dc, [12 dc in next ch-6 lp, skip next dc, sc in next (center) dc, skip next dc] 3 times, sl st in ch-6 lp, ch 5 (counts as first tr and ch1), [(tr, ch 1) 7 times, dc, ch 1, hdc, ch 1, sc] in same lp, skip next dc, sc in next dc, skip next dc, [sc, ch 1, hdc, ch 1, dc, (ch 1, tr) 7 times, ch 5] in last ch-6 lp; join with sl st to first sc.

Trim
Row 1:
With right side facing, working across large petals, join White with sc to first ch-1 sp, [ch 3, sc in next ch-1 sp] 9 times, ch 3, sc in next sc; [ch 3, sc in next ch-1 sp] 10 times. Finish off and weave in ends.
