#324 Root Beer Crochet Dishcloth – Maggie Weldon Maggies Crochet

SUNDAY NOVEMBER 20, 2011

Designer Yvonne Mickelson wrote: “I have been crocheting for over 50 years. I have been following the Dishcloth-A-Day Challenge since it started. I have been planning to make them all! I really liked #44 Popcorn Dishcloth by Kathleen Stuart. Not long ago I was making Popcorn for my granddaughter. She said the best thing to go with popcorn is root beer. I heard bells and whistles and light bulbs went off in my mind and thus was born the Root Beer Dishcloth.”

Thank you Yvonne for joining the Dishcloth-A-Day Challenge!

Maggie & Yvonne ~~ LOVE this pattern !!! When I crochet it for my friend, do you mind if I leave the “root” off it?!?!? He drinks Bud Light ~~ I thought I could embroidery “Bud Light” on it instead of “root”! If you don’t mind. :o)

LOL!!! Linda, as far as I am concerned, you can leave off the “Root”. This makes me think, if you made it with green it could be a 7-up bottle. Possibilites are endless. I am glad you like it. Thanks.
