Plain Peach Dishcloth

Skill: Easy

Size: About 9” wide and 9½” long.

Materials: Worsted Weight Cotton: Peach – 2 oz, 100 yd (60 g, 92 m)(Sugar ‘n Cream)

Crochet Hook: Size H-8 (5.00 mm)

To Change Colors

Work last stitch before color change to last step, with new color, yo and pull new color through remaining lps on hook. Drop unused color to wrong side. Do not work over unused color.

JOINING WITH SC

When instructed to join with sc, begin with sl knot on hook, insert hook in st or sp indicated, yo and pull up a loop, yo and draw through both loops on hook.

DISHCLOTH

Row 1:
(Wrong Side) Ch 27, sc in 2nd ch from hook, [sc in next ch] across. (26 sc)

Row 2:
Ch 3 (counts as first dc now and throughout), turn, [dc in next sc] across. (26 dc)

Row 3:
Ch 1, turn, sc in each dc across. (26 sc)

Rows 4-21:
Rep Rows 2-3.

At the end of Row 21, DO NOT FINISH OFF.

Edging

Rnd 1:
Ch 1, turn, (right side facing), 3 sc in first sc, [sc in next sc] across to last sc, 3 sc in last sc; * working in sides of rows, evenly sc across * , working in unused lps of starting ch, 3 sc in first ch, [sc in next ch] across to last ch, 3 sc in last ch; rep from * to *, join with sl st to first sc. Finish off and weave in ends.

    It would be nice if when you get done with all of the patterns that you make a page with all the names and pictures of each dishcloth to save us from looking through numerous files to try to find the one we are looking for.
