Size: About 8½” wide and 11” long
Materials: Worsted Weight Cotton: Blue – 2 oz, 100 yd (60 g, 92 m) (Sugar ‘n Cream)
Crochet Hook: Size H-8 (5.00 mm)
JOINING WITH SC
When instructed to join with sc, begin with sl knot on hook, insert hook in st or sp indicated, yo and pull up a loop, yo and draw through both loops on hook.
DISHCLOTH
Row 1: (Right Side) Ch 35, sc in 7th ch from hook (skipped ch count as ch 2, hdc, ch 2), [ch 5, skip next 4 ch, sc in next ch] 5 times, ch 2, skip next 2 ch, hdc in last ch.
Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as first dc now and throughout), turn, 3 dc in next ch-2 sp, [ch 2, sc in next ch-5 lp, ch 2 *, (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in next ch-5 lp] across, ending at * on final repeat, 3 dc in next ch-2 sp (of turning ch), dc in 4th ch of turning ch (last hdc).
Row 3: Ch 1, turn, sc in first dc, [ch 3, dc in next 3 dc, skip next 2 ch-2 sps, dc in next 3 dc, ch 3, sc in next ch-2 sp] across, ending with last sc (on final repeat) in last dc.
Row 4: Ch 5 (counts as first dc and ch 2), turn, sc in next ch-3 sp, [ch 5, sc in next ch-3 sp] across to last ch-3 sp, ch 2, dc in last dc.
Row 5: Ch 1, turn, sc in first dc, [ch 2, (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in next ch-5 lp, ch 2, sc in next ch-5 lp] across, ending with last sc (on final repeat) in last dc.
Row 6: Ch 3, turn, skip next ch-2 sp, [dc in next 3 dc, ch 3, sc in next ch-2 sp, ch 3, dc in next 3 dc *, skip next 2 ch-2 sps] across, ending at * on final repeat, skip next ch-2 sp, dc in last sc.
Row 7: Ch 5 (counts as first dc and ch 2), turn, sc in next ch-3 sp, [ch 5, sc in next ch-3 sp] across to last ch-3 sp, ch 2, dc in last dc.
Rows 8-17: Rep Rows 2-7 and Rows 2-5.
At the end of Row 17, Finish off and weave in ends.
