Skill: Easy
Size: About 9” wide and 8½” long
Materials: Worsted Weight Cotton: Blue – 1 oz, 50 yd (30 g, 46 m); White – 1 oz, 50 yd (30 g, 46 m); Red – 1 oz, 50 yd (30 g, 46 m); Gold – ½ oz, 25 yd (15 g, 23 m)(Sugar ‘n Cream)
Crochet Hook: Size H-8 (5.00 mm)

TO CHANGE COLORS
Work last stitch before color change to last step, with new color yo and pull new color through remaining loops on hook. Drop unused color to wrong side. Do not work over unused color.

JOINING WITH SC
When instructed to join with sc, begin with sl knot on hook, insert hook in st or sp indicated, yo and pull up a loop, yo and draw through both loops on hook.

DISHCLOTH
Row 1:
With Blue, ch 8, change color to Red in next ch (yo, draw new color through lp on hook), ch 16; sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next 14 ch, change to Blue, with Blue, sc in next 9 ch. (24 sc)
Row 2:
(Right Side) Ch 1, turn, sc in first 9 sc, with Red, sc in next 15 sc, change color to White.
Row 3:
With White, ch 1, turn, sc in first 15 sc, with Blue, sc in next 9 sc.
Row 4:
Ch 1, turn, sc in first 9 sc, with White, sc in next 15 sc, change color to Red.
Row 5:
With Red, ch 1, turn, sc in first 15 sc, with Blue, sc in next 9 sc.
Row 6:
Ch 1, turn, sc in first 9 sc, with Red, sc in next 15 sc, change color to White.
Rows 7-14:
Rep Rows 3-6 twice.
At the end of Row 14, finish off Blue and weave in ends.
Rows 15-16:
With White, ch 1, turn, sc in each sc across.
At the end of Row 16, change color to Red.
Rows 17-18:
With Red, ch 1, turn, sc in each sc across.
At the end of Row 18, change color to White.
Rows 19-26:
Rep Rows 15-18 twice.
At the end of Row 26, finish off and weave in ends.

Edging
Rnd 1:
With right side facing, join Blue with sc in last sc on Row 26; 2 sc in same sc; * working in sides of rows, evenly sc across *; working in unused lps of starting ch, 3 sc in first ch, sc in next 22 ch, 3 sc in last ch; rep from * to * once; working in Row 26, 3 sc in first sc, sc in next 22 sc; join with sl st to first sc. Finish off and weave in ends.
Rnd 2:
With right side facing, join Gold with sl st to center sc of any corner 3-sc group, ch 3, (dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in same sp, [dc in next sc] around, working (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in each corner ch-2 sp; join with sl st to first dc. Finish off and weave in ends.
