Skill: Beginner
Size: About 8” square.
Materials: Worsted Weight Cotton Yarn: White – 1 oz, 50 yd (30 g, 46 m)Mixed colors – cut into 24” pieces and tied together to make up about 120 yds.
Crochet Hook: Size H-8 (5.00 mm)
Gauge: 3 sc = 1″, 3 sc rows = 1″.
JOINING WITH SC
When instructed to join with sc, begin with sl knot on hook, insert hook in st or sp indicated, yo and pull up a loop, yo and draw through both loops on hook.
DISHCLOTH
Note: Leave ends of tied yarns exposed.
Row 1: (Right Side) Starting at center, with Mixed Colors, ch 25, sc in 2nd ch from hook, [sc in next ch] across. (24 sc)
Rows 2-24: Ch 1, turn, sc in each sc across. (24 sc)
At the end of Row 24, finish off and weave in ends.
Edging
Rnd 1: With right side facing, join with sc in first sc, 2 sc in same st as joining, sc in next 22 sc, 3 sc in next sc; * working in sides of rows, sc in each row *; working in unused lps of starting ch, 3 sc in first ch, sc in next 22 ch, 3 sc in next ch; rep from * to * once; join with sl st to first sc.
Rnd 2: Ch 1, sl st in each sc around; join. Finish off and weave in ends.

So far I think this is one of my faves! I enjoyed the look of the hanging threads so much that I made several scarves using this technique this winter
I can envision making a TON of this cloth when I finish making all the ones in the challenge…. am still blogging about it and linking to the site
