Size: About 11” square
Materials: Worsted Weight Cotton: Yellow – - 2 oz, 95 yd (56.7 g, 86 yd) (Lion Cotton)
Crochet Hook: Size H-8 (5.00 mm)
Special Stitches
Fan: (2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc) in same st or sp indicated.
DISHCLOTH
Row 1: (Right Side) With Yellow, ch 38, sc in 2nd ch from hook, [skip next 2 ch, Fan in next ch, skip next 2 ch, sc in next ch] across. (6 fans and 7 sc)
Row 2: Ch 1, turn, 3 dc in first sc, [sc in next ch-1 sp, Fan in next sc] 5 times, sc in next ch-1 sp, 3 dc in last sc.
Row 3: Ch 1, turn, sc in first dc, skip next 2 dc, [Fan in next sc, sc in next ch-1 sp] 5 times, Fan in next sc, skip next 2 dc, sc in last dc.
Rows 4-19: Rep Rows 2-3.
At the end of Row 19, DO NOT FINISH OFF.
Edging
Rnd 1: Ch 1, DO NOT TURN, evenly sc around working 3 sc in each corner; join with sl st to first sc. Finish off and weave in ends.

This pattern looks awesome with a self-striping or varigated yarn. I used “Sail Away Stripes” by Peaches & Creme, turned out great. Did a row of white for the border.
