Skill: Easy

Size: About 8” square.

Materials: Worsted Weight Cotton Yarn:

Blue – – 2 oz, 95 yds (57 g, 86 m)

White – 2 oz, 95 yds (57 g, 86 m)

(Sugar ‘n Cream – Blue Jeans, White)

Crochet Hook: Size H-8 (5.00 mm)

Dishcloth

Row 1: (Right Side) With Blue, ch 26, sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next 4 ch, (dc in next 5 ch, sc in next 5 ch) twice. (25 sts) Change color to White and drop Blue.

Row 2: With White, ch 3 (counts as first dc), turn, dc in next 4 sc, (sc in next 5 dc, dc in next 5 sc) across. (25 sts)

Row 3: Ch 1, turn, sc in first dc, sc in next 4 dc, (dc in next 5 sc, sc in next 5 dc) across. (25 sts) Pick up Blue and drop White.

Row 4: With Blue, ch 3 (counts as first dc), turn, dc in next 4 sc, (sc in next 5 dc, dc in next 5 sc) across. (25 sts)

Row 5: Ch 1, turn, sc in first dc, sc in next 4 dc, (dc in next 5 sc, sc in next 5 dc) across. (25 sts) Pick up White and drop Blue.

Rows 6-17: Rep Rows 2-5 three times.

Rows 18-20: Rep Rows 2-4 once.

At the end of Row 20, DO NOT FINISH OFF.

Edging

Rnd 1: Ch 1, turn (right side facing), 3 sc in first dc, (sc in next st) across to last dc, 3 sc in last dc; * working in sides of rows, evenly sc across *; working in unused lps of starting ch, 3 sc in first ch, (sc in next ch) across to last ch, 3 sc in last ch; rep from * to *; join with sl st to first sc. Finish off and weave in ends.
