#35 Open Shell Dishcloth

Designer – Kathleen Stuart learned to crochet when she was ten and has been crocheting and designing crochet ever since. She started her “career” in crochet in 1991 after reading about crochet designs wanted for a crochet magazine. She was amazed that her first design was accepted!  She designs as a hobby.

Kathleen: “I joined the dishcloth challenge for several reasons. The first reason is that I love to make things for charity. The second reason is that I love a challenge!”

Kathleen: “I found this Open Shell pattern many years ago and it is a favorite of mine to make quick baby afghans. I love making this pattern with variegated yarn, but it would do well in a plain color too. I changed the border on this pattern from the one I found years ago”.

Thank your for joining the challenge Kathleen – Maggie
